Acupressure Diabetes Slippers are based on the acupressure principle and very useful to diabetic patients. The patient should wear shoes that fit well. Proper care of feet should be taken, because a small injury/cut to the foot may be dangerous for diabetic patients. The temperature of feet should be maintained, in diabetes patients sense of hot temperature is impaired. Feet should be kept dry because the infection may occur in a moist area. These slippers are made such that air can pass between the feet and floor of slippers, to keep the foot dry. Break-in new shoes slowly by wearing them one-two hours each day for the first week. Always wear shoes/slippers because when barefoot, it is easy to step on something and hurt feet.
