Bhardwaj Ayurvedic Acupressure - Agarwal - Hindi Book |
Description : Our ancestors in India, China and many ancient civilizations have known about the existence of basic elements in the universe since time immemorial. As per generally known and accepted Indian philosophy, there exist five elements in the universe and each and every living and non living being in the universe must necessarily exist within the ambit of these five elements. These five elements are space, wind, fire, water and earth (solids).
However, the author of this book and the inventor of ayurvedic acupressure was not satisfied with this ancient wisdom handed down over the generations. In his quest to know more, he delved deep into the ancient Indian text, ‘Charak Sanhita’ written about three thousand years ago and found to his amazement that this text clearly mentions the existence of ten elements in the universe. The five additional elements are time, direction, mind, soul and darkness (zero state that existed even before creation of the universe).
Drawing upon divine inspiration, the author co related the ten fingers of the hand with these ten elements and discovered an elaborate system of meridians and points on the fingers and other body parts. Ayurvedic acupressure, a combination of ayurvedic principles and acupressure application, an entirely new therapy was thus born in the year 2003. The book Charak Ayurvedic Acupuncture & Acupressure was the result of the author’s deep research and insight into the subject. However, this book was found to be rather advanced by many readers and hence a need was felt to produce a basic book on the subject and hence this book.
This book explains the principles of ayurvedic acupressure and the ten elements in brief detail. For detailed explanation, readers are advised to refer to Charak Ayurvedic Acupuncture & Acupressure. The book introduces the reader to Ayurvedic correspondence system wherein the hands have been considered to exactly correspond with the body and hence amenable to treatment of disorders affecting any body part. The constitution, functions and associated diseases of each organ have been explained lucidly in the book. The book further illustrates the correspondence of various organs and body parts on the hands with the help of numerous figures. The ayurvedic acupressure treatment of a large number of simple diseases have also been given out in the book.
