1. Structure of The Product: The vacuum cupping (rotary type) is mainly made of O - sealed ring, plunger, body of vacuum cupping and rotatable handle. 2. Scope of Application: This product is suitable for cupping therapy.

3. Contraindication and Precautions

I. Contraindication:

(1). Serious heart disease, hepatopathy, bleeding tendency diseases (such as thrombocytopenia, hemophilia, leukemia, purpura, acute sprain there is congestion phenomenon, cerebral hemorrhage period), pregnant women and women's menstrual period, cancer patient, brunchiectasis, tuberculosis active were banned.

(2) Large blood vessels, apex beat, coma, fractures, seizures, convulsions as well as a significant cupping and other non-allergic were banned.

(3). Edema disease or edema were banned.

(4). The sides of neck and the soft spots, navel, armpit, groin are not permitted to use cupping.

(5). Skinny body and the skin loses its elasticity were banned.

II. Precautions:

(1). Cupping is not suitable in drunken state, too hungry, too full, too thirsty, after strenuous exercise, in patients with extreme emaciation, cachexia, and patients without skin elasticity.

(2). When there is few subcutaneous fat or the skin is dry, it is easy to leak air, applying a layer of lubricating oil such as

vaseline or use the warm and damp towel to clean the skin then cupping again.

(3). Used with caution for children under 3 years old.

(4). The difficult illness should use the cupping treatment under the guidance of a doctor.

(5). Keeping the room warm during placing and removing cupping to avoid air draught and guard against catching cold.

(6). Selecting an appropriate cupping set and a comfortable posture (for example, sitting postures, lying in prone position, lying in supine position, lying on lateral side), during the stay cupping, tell the patient not to move position to avoid the cupping falling off.

(7) Cupping part, selecting generally appropriate posture and the areas with abundant muscles, and smooth skin without hairs and hasn't knuckle on uneven area, in case the cupping drop. If cupping has to be taken over an uneven area or an area with many hairs, please use the flour and water becomes reconciled then makes the flour cushion under the cupping entrance in case leak air.

(8). According to different parts of cupping, selecting the suitable size of the cupping, select generally appropriate posture and the areas with abundant muscles, and smooth skin, such as back, waist, abdomen, chest, thighs, shoulders, on the site may select the large size or the medium-sized cupping, the muscle is not plentiful, the subcutaneous fat are few, the narrow and small part, like limbs and so on may select the small cupping.

(9). In the use of multiple cupping, the distance between cups is not too close, in order to avoid discomfort of skin to stretch each cupping, and caused cups falls off for squeeze of each cup.

(10). During cupping, if the patient felt the part of cupping is too tight, painful heavily or intolerable, it may possibly that the negative pressure is too big in the cupping and should change the negative pressure(contrarotate the handle then reduce negative pressure)or cups should be removed and cupping again.

(11). During or after cupping, if the patient feel cupping part gives off heat, send out cool air, dull pain, micro itches, comfort or flushing, the purple red or the purple black ecchymosis, and the phenomena of appearing localized skin blister, water droplets, bleeding points, extravasations of blood are all normal therapeutic reactions, does not need to be panic, if there are blisters rupture, should take timely measures to prevent infection.

4. Product Description

I. Usage Method:

(1). Selecting an suitable cupping set and a comfortable posture (divide into sitting postures, lying in supine position, lying on lateral side, lying in prone position and all kinds of sitting position).

(3) Through to contrarotate handle, adjusting the surface of the plunger and the cupping body entrance to keep basic parallel and level, then put the cup entrance close to the skin.

(3). Rotate handle clockwise, so that the cupping adsorbs on the skin, until the skin swell and the patient may tolerate.

(4). When the treatment finished, contrarotate the handle when the surface and of plunger and the cupping body entrance to keep basic parallel and level, then the cupping can be removed.

II. Commonly Used of Cupping Methods:

(1). Stay cupping: Stay the cups on the skin after cupping for about 10 minutes (about 3 minutes in children, S minutes in youngsters and 7 minutes in women). In the patients with delicate skins, the time is limited by the tolerance of human body. Remove the cups after the skin at the cupping site is congested with blood extravasations. If the cup is big and the suction force is strong, the stay time of cups may be correspondingly shortened. In patients with severe diseases, deeper focus, or more pain, the stay time may be slightly prolonged; in those with less severe diseases, more superficial focus or paralytic diseases, the stay time may be shortened. The time may be slightly prolonged at sites with thicker muscles, and the time may be shortened at sites with thinner muscles; the stay time may be slightly prolonged during winter and shortened during summer. This is the most commonly used method and suitable for use in all diseases.

(2). Walk cupping: It may also be called push cupping or move cupping. Before cupping, apply a layer of lubricating oil such as vaseline over the skin of cupping sites or on the cup orifice to suck the cups on, then pull and push the cups back and forth along the channels or along the desired circuit for cupping, and remove the cups until the skin of cupping area becomes reddened, congested or extravasated. This method may act both as cupping and scraping therapies, it is suitable for the sites with broad arca, smooth skin and abundant - muscles, such as the back, loin, buttocks, thighs and other areas.

(3). Ashi acupoint(where there is paining, threating there): Ashi acupoint is also called "no acupoint, uncertain acupoint, pressure painful point", namely "Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor" said "as explains take the pain", the meaning is there is no fixed position with Ashi acupoint, according to the ache spot, pressure painful point or pathological reaction to definite acupuncture point. Ashi acupoint is always used on clinical treating the ache illness, stiff neck, cervical spondylosis, periarthritis of shoulder pain in waist and legs, backache, sciatica, knee joint ache and so on.

5. Repair, Maintenance and Troubleshooting

I. The Method of repair and maintenance

(1). After use, rub the cupping set with routine disinfectant or alcohol cotton and be keep clean and tidy.

(2). The cupping set should not be damaged by squeezing, crashing and scratching; and never soak, boil with water, or treat it with high temperature.

(3). The plunger in the cupping can be free to dismantle, when feel hard to rotate the handle, should apply a layer of lubricating oil such as vaseline over the o-sealedring of the plunger or intine of cupping body, the handle can rotate more light.

(4). Rotary Vacuum Cupping requires regular maintenance: Firstly, contrarotate handle continuously, until the plunge unload, rub the cupping set with routine disinfectant and alcohol cotton, then apply a layer of lubricating oil, such as vaseline over the o-sealed ring or intine of cupping body and re-install to use.

(5) O-sealed ring should always be evenly daubed proper amount of lubricating oil (Medical Vaseline or other), to keep smooth.
